Job Description
Job Summary / Purpose
Implement marketing strategies for one or more company key brands in order to meet established sales and market share targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual marketing strategies and operating plans.
- Manage and develop all aspects of brand strategies: consumer insights, media, consumer and trade promotion, market research, product development, pricing, volume and operations planning, financial mix and P&L management.
- Understand consumer and market comprehensively; (i.e. insight into consumer dynamics, able to represent the consumer view in all brand decisions and effectively understand the commercial environment).
- Achieve brand targets, specifically; (i.e responsible for achieving the goals set out in the budget for Marketing; deliver Marketing activity on time and to budget, achieve brand awareness and manage Marketing(A&P) expenditure).
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts; and adapt plans to improve the sales performance of the product.
- Responsible for contributing to the annual goals set out in the Budget.
- Identify market opportunities for new products and product renovation management of the NPD process.
- Manage all elements of consumer communication relating to brand responsibilities effectively (i.e. Branding, Packaging Design, Advertising Development & Production, Media Effectiveness, Consumer Promotions Sampling, POS Design and production).
- Liaise and work closely with creative, media, pr, digital agencies to design & successfully execute marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics.
- Minimum 5 years related experience in FMCG industry.
- Excellent people management and strong leaderships skills.
- Strategic approach to problem solving and an ability to manage complexity.
- Good communication skills and able to interact with different levels in the organization.
- Forward thinking and up to date with latest industry information.
