Job Description

Job Summary / Purpose

Implement marketing strategies for one or more company key brands in order to meet established sales and market share targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual marketing strategies and operating plans.
  • Manage and develop all aspects of brand strategies: consumer insights, media, consumer and trade promotion, market research, product development, pricing, volume and operations planning, financial mix and P&L management.
  • Understand consumer and market comprehensively; (i.e. insight into consumer dynamics, able to represent the consumer view in all brand decisions and effectively understand the commercial environment).
  • Achieve brand targets, specifically; (i.e responsible for achieving the goals set out in the budget for Marketing; deliver Marketing activity on time and to budget, achieve brand awareness and manage Marketing(A&P) expenditure).
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts; and adapt plans to improve the sales performance of the product.
  • Responsible for contributing to the annual goals set out in the Budget.
  • Identify market opportunities for new products and product renovation management of the NPD process.
  • Manage all elements of consumer communication relating to brand responsibilities effectively (i.e. Branding, Packaging Design, Advertising Development & Production, Media Effectiveness, Consumer Promotions Sampling, POS Design and production).
  • Liaise and work closely with creative, media, pr, digital agencies to design & successfully execute marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in FMCG industry.
  • Excellent people management and strong leaderships skills.
  • Strategic approach to problem solving and an ability to manage complexity.
  • Good communication skills and able to interact with different levels in the organization.
  • Forward thinking and up to date with latest industry information.
