Job Description
Job Summary / Purpose
- Responsible for all aspects of financial and corporate governance of URC Batu Pahat and Pasir Gudang plant including management reporting, financial account and compliance with statutory audit, direct & indirect tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting for the business including management reports, financial account, statutory audit corporate tax and indirect tax.
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations including month end closing and review journals, posting and reconciliations to ensure accordance to accounting standards.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation and ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements as well as company accounting policies.
- Maintain formulate and implement accounting and internal control systems, policies and procedures to safeguard assets and operations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, statutory bodies, tax consultant and other consultants for audit / financial and tax matters.
- Work closely with Management & Industrial team to achieve Group’s objectives and participate actively in business growth and expansion.
- Assist any other tasks and projects as needed from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor in Finance and Accounting / CIMA / ACCA / CPA.
- Minimum 5 years related experience.
